Pro bono work
Open Rivers sets aside a portion of our work for pro bono efforts. We are truly impressed by those who choose to use their expertise, passion and energy to create a world better for all of us. Many of these people take on considerable personal risks. The pro bono side of Open Rivers focuses on new “start up” non-profits founded by those who believe in making a change, often putting aside their own successful careers and making considerable life changes, to meet a greater mission.
Our experience covers two areas that can be lent to these non-profits: strategy & content (e.g., the range of experience in agriculture and environment) and operations (setting up an organization and strategizing for success).
